This week we're continuing our preparations for the December Showcase. The abduction bay and the hallway have been modeled for maya blocking purposes and the hallway was added to unreal. The lighting for the operation bay has been done so the shot production team have been pushing their renders through unreal and into Nuke, including myself.
I specifically put my operation room and hallway shots into unreal and added 3 point lighting on the characters, rendering them out and pushing them through the pipeline.
I also finished blocking shots for the abduction bay and will put them into unreal as the unreal scenes become ready and renderable.
Going forward, the environment team will put the environments into unreal and light them and the shot production will push the shots through the pipeline as they become ready and available. We as a team will also be editing out other shots to help with continuity and understanding. We are on track for the december showcase. Till next time!
