This week was all about clean up and prep for shots layout and animation. We got our pipeline and who's doing what organized. People are getting started on blocking and going through, taking shots from maya to unreal to nuke in an efficient way. We also recruited sound people for our diegetic and non-diegetic noise and music.
I specifically went through and made sure I was fluent in our pipeline so I could be ready for shot layout and I fixed up the alien rig, separating the mouth and giving it a mouth cavity.
I also made sure everything worked properly with the alien rig for steps moving forward. I wanted to make sure it would be good for the rest of the pipeline so I skinned the eyes and touched up the weight painting. I had some trouble reimporting the rig after updating it with the mouth, but I figured out that I had to unbind and recopy the weights to the cage and then the problem was fixed.
I also did some research into marvelous designer for future clothes and am ready to move forward with the rest of my group with shot layout and revamping our storyboard. Till next time!
