Today I discussed with my group to revisit the true north of the short stories and I started sketching for my new task, the culminating beat-board image for the Fighter Kites story. Since we decided that we were all passionate and on the same page for the short stories, we wanted to make sure each person in our group got ample time with each concept. Since I don't have a full clear on the idea I had, I decided to sketch out the town, filter the implied time (dusk/night), and experiment with the kite colors, sizes, and placement. The hardest challenge was placement and perspective, it was a challenge trying to figure out what would show off the necessary information while also making sense logistically and creatively. I'll still have to check with my group before moving forward, but it's a good start.
